Three years ago I set up a Discord server here. It currently has over 200 members. I had a vision of a bustling community where students would be sharing their questions with each other and supporting each other. A place where fun physics discussions would be happening. A place where physics nerds could feel safe to ask questions to improve their own understanding. Alas, it’s a ghost town.
There’s the occasional question on there, with rarely any response, but in general the different channels lay dormant.
I moved the live chat back to YouTube because there were some reliability issues with Discord, which may partly explain why it is so quiet. I also hosted the resource files on my website too.
I don’t think there is any point me continuing to maintain the Discord server, because no body is using it, so I am going to shut it down.
