In January 2023 I wrote a social media bot, which posted things such as historical physics milestones on key dates, reminders of tuition sessions, GCSE Physics notes and photographs and descriptions of famous physicists.
Some point late last year, Elon Musk switched off Twitter bots, but I kept the bot running for Facebook. Well, I am not convinced the bot was actually sharing things people were interested in, so last night I disconnected it and started the process of deleting the 1000+ posts it had made.
All posts on my social media channels from now on will have been shared by a human.
And now the Raspberry Pi I had in my loft can be repurposed.
