Ten GCSE Physics places, ten GCSE Astronomy places, and ten A-Level Physics places. That’s all I can offer from September for the live interactive tuition. Those thirty tutees will get real-time personalised feedback whilst they are working. They will be able to ask questions as we work through the material, and get their answers checked. There are currently 41 people on the waiting list.

Tomorrow (Thursday) I will be sending an email to everyone on the waiting list with the enrolment link and a discount code for 50% off the first month. The enrolment link will then be made public on Saturday.

Frequently asked questions

• Tuition sessions start on 12th September.
• Timings are on my website, take a look at the bottom of the home page or the bottom of the enrolment page or the bottom of the dashboards.
• They occur every Saturday during term time. There is a programme available on the bottom of the dashboards.
• Sessions are recorded, and you can go back to watch sessions up to two terms later; however, live participation is best so that you get the live feedback.
• Enrolment is charged as a monthly subscription. You get 24/7 access to the learning resources (videos, worksheets, web apps, notes, question generators, recordings of sessions, Q&A forum).
• If all of the participation tier spaces are taken, you can still enrol as a viewer (on the viewer tier) at a reduced rate, and will be able to join the participation tier at a discount if a space becomes available. Viewers can still access the resources and recordings, but cannot participate in the sessions live.
• You can join any time you like (if there is space). Similarly, you can cancel your enrolment any time you like with no cancellation fee.
• Physics sessions alternate between Year 1 and Year 2 of the course each week. Tutees are encouraged to attend them all. Preparation videos are provided each week so that the tutee has knowledge of the topics before the sessions, whether they have studied them in school or not. Year 2 students will be able to revise Year 1 content, and Year 1 students will be able to practice their physics skills as they are introduced to Year 2 content.
• Astronomy sessions aim to complete the course before the summer examinations. Many astronomy students choose to study GCSE Astronomy over two years, and attend the tuition sessions for two years too.
• Homework tasks are set each week to extend the learning. You can ask questions about the homework tasks during the week in the Q&A Forum.
